LONDON: Ticketmaster has admitted a security breach, which has affected thousands of its customers in United Kingdom.
The ticket sales company said it has identified malicious software on a customer support product hosted by a third party supplier.
“Some personal or payment information may have been accessed by an unknown third party” the company said in a tweet.
Some 40,000 people are thought to have been affected by the breach.
The company also said forensic teams are working to understanding how the breach happened.
All those affected have been contacted.
