Micro-investing app Moneybox secures £14m

LONDON: Micro-investing app Moneybox, has secured £14m in Series B funding to develop new products and grow the business. 

The app allows people to put small amounts of spare change into funds run by Vanguard, Henderson and Blackrock.

The investment round was led by venture capital firm Eight Roads.

Existing investors Oxford Capital Partners and Samos Investments also participated.

The new round of investment brings the total amount of funds raised by Moneybox to £21.3m.
