Dr Hotak chairs ‘Unlocking Private Finance’ panel in World Humanitarian Forum

LONDON: British Digital Chamber of Commerce leader Dr Mohammad Hotak chaired the important panel on Unlocking Private Finance in World Humanitarian Forum and Aid and Trade Conference.

The conference which was held over two days on 17th and 18th April 2019 in Excel, London, brought together prominent leaders from the public and private sectors, as well as international thought-leaders and pioneers from across the world.

Dr Hotak chaired the key panel on Private Sector Financing. Distinguished speakers in the panel included:

1. Wiebke Jardet from European Investment Bank

2. Barry Kolodkin from European Bank of Reconstruction and Development

3. Michel Botzung from International Finance Corporation

4. Laura Frigenti from IDAS Institute

Dr Hotak who is a strong advocate for trade, entrepreneurship, tech and access to finance in rebuilding nations, led the discussion on the top at a time when government budgets are running low across the world.

He highlighted the need and ways of private capital mobilisation to creating jobs and opportunities for people in countries across the world.

Thousands of visitors attended the two event.
